After high school I moved to Navarre,, stayed there for about 13 years then met my wonderful husband Mark where we moved to Pace. I have 2 children, Ryan 18, and  Taylor 15. Yea, I got started late!. Most of you already have grand children. Ryan graduates this year and received a football scholarship to play for the University of Southern Mississippi this fall. Taylor is a Varsity cheerleader at Pace. Can't wait to see everyone!!

I am still in Tallahassee, FL where I have been since about a year after graduation.  I have been working for the same law firm for the last 26 years doing mostly administrative law and health care facility licenseing and regulation work.  My last son just graduated from high school and headed to college.

For those that are making it to the 35th reunion have fun and I will hopefully catch the next one.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone.  A lot of you I have not seen since we had our 10 year Reunion.  It's truly a blessing that all of us are getting together and reuniting with each other.

Hi Guys!
After graduating from FSU with degrees in MIS and Accounting I was recruited by Target Stores
to join their team of systems analysts.  I loved the company so much that I have been there ever since!  We live in Houston, Texas!  I met my husband, Jeff,  through Target Stores.  I have been an executive with Target for 28 years.  Jeff is celebrating 30 years with Target as a Remodel Specialist. We have two children, John and Linda.  John graduated from UT this year.  Linda is entering her senior year of high school and is looking at schools now.  We are active in the Catholic Church, and enjoy traveling.  My husband loves to cruise so we plan family cruises every year.  Texas has a lot of great people with a southern hospitality.  I love my life here and plan on retiring in Texas!  I wish I could be at the 30 year reunion!  We will be on a cruise in the eastern Caribbean!

This reunion is a great thing, makes me regret not staying in touch.

When I first saw some of the pics on the site I thought boy they sure have aged (except Debbie H. of course) then I looked in the mirror and thought maybe instead of that new truck, plastic surgery would have been a good thing --Naaa.

There was a time when I knew the name of every person in our class. Too many diet Cokes since then, almost forget my own age every year. I’ll just apologize in advance for forgetting and look forward to the fun of trying to remember.

There are some things I do remember: One of the my kids favorite bed time stories I told was about the time Tommy Curly and I had a contest to see who could hold a full drink of water in their mouth through Physics class. I would look back at Tommy every now and then with cheeks fully extended and swish, Tommy would do the same. At the end of class we both made our way the fountain were Tommy demmonsted his tenacity and will power by depositing a large amount of water in the drain then I started laughing and told him how I swallow mine after we sat down. I was always sure to let the kids know this guy I out witted scored a perfect 36 on the ACT. I think they were impressed with their clever father at one time.

I also remember in Bio class Mr. Webster saying something about pimples. Becky Davis said she could write a book about pimples and Susan Drott quipped that she could provide the illustrations. Now that I am writing this I also remember why my back is so out of whack.  It was Debbie H. flipping me flat on the ground in summer school P.E. I’m sure glad she pursued at lest one of her talents.

I remember Hal Casleberry going with me to cut down a large Christmas tree we put in the Tate building and Cleve C. he went to all the football games.

For me after Tate, UWF cooped in NY.NY ate dinner at the top of Trade Center. Makes me angry to think of how they were destroyed. After college I joined the Navy to see the world. I met my wonderful wife of 23 years in Ca. we have four fabulous kids each developing into their own unique person. Two in college and two still being home schooled. We have lived in VA, Chicago, TN, AZ and now Ga. Would love to move some place exotic and with no taxes. Thought of running for political office a time or two may yet do it.

Traci P. and 7 kids that can't be right. Were on earth is Norbert Hector?

Look forward to Friday.

It's been 40 years? That seems impossible!  As hard as it is to believe that 40 years have passed, it has been fun reading what everyone has been up to.

Renee Rasberry and I started dating soon after we graduated from Tate and married right after we both graduated from UWF in '83. We lived in West Palm Beach for a couple of years and then moved to Huntsville, AL where we had our son, Eric, in '86.

We moved to Fort Walton Beach in '87 where we each got a Master's degree from UWF and we had two daughters: Nicole in '90 and Alyssa and '94.  We moved to Woodstock, GA (just north of Atlanta) in '98.  In '13 the entire engineering team for the program I was on was transferred to Fort Worth, TX, so Renee and I have been Texans for the past 6 years.

It'll be great catching up again...see you at the reunion.

Okay, now that I figured out what this is, I'll give a brief summary of where I've been for the last 40 years.  I graduated from University of South Alabama and went to work in my Mom's evnironmental laboratory.  Got married, moved to New Orleans, then to Miami, then to West Palm Beach, and back to New Orleans where I got a divorce (it takes a year to get a divorce in Louisiana!), all before age 30.  While dinking around with ex, I got a MBA.  Left him in New orleans and moved back to West Palm Beach where I did everything one can in commercial real estate at a pension fund advisory firm.

Got bored, moved to Chicago and got a law degree.  Worked on the Exxon Valdez case for a while, then tried corporate real estate at a large insurance company.  Got laid off, dinked around for a while, and then moved to Ft. Lauderdale.  Working for Boward County for 5 years I was Director of Real Estate, Deputy Port Director, Assistant County Administrator, Deputy Airport Director.  I got promotions (I think) and got to solve problems, which was fun.

i was recruited to be the Chief Commercial Officer (aka Deputy Executive Director of Commercial Development) at Los Angels World Airports - we had 4 airports when I started, down to 2 when I left - not my fault!  After 10 years, I got to retire and moved back to Pensacola because (1) I can afford to live here without working, (2) my Mom is here and (3) I have two beautiful nieces that I like to spoil then go home (which was easier before I moved back to Pensacola!).

I can't believe how much Pensacola has changed and am happy with my decision to be here after 40 years - WOW, REALLY, that long!?  I am doing consulting work, mainly for airports, around real estate issues, but mainly I'm trying to figure out what I want to get involved in.  Once I finish my house remodel I will have a lot of free time . . . probably too much to be honest.

I'm looking forward to seeing folks at the reunion and am excited I can finally attend one!

Apparently, I have been on the missing persons list for the last 30 years so many of you may not remember me.  I moved to Pensacola from Houston for my junior/senior years of high school.  I remember everyone at Tate being very welcoming and friendly to the new girl.  My family moved to California my freshman year of college while I was attending Oklahoma State University. I tranferred to Pepperdine University my sophomore year and graduated in 1983 with a BS in Accounting.  I met my husband Bruce while working for Exxon in Thousand Oaks, CA. We have now been married almost 23 years.  We moved to Houston in 1986.  We have 3 terrific daughters Annie (17), Ellie & Laura (16) who all attend the same high school I started at in Houston before coming to Tate.  I currently work for the University of Houston Foundation.  Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the 30th reunion.  Sean just found me this week (so I am no longer MIA) and we already have a trip planned for the same weekend.  I hope you all have a wonderful time.  Maybe I will be able to make it for the 40th (better late than never).  Many thanks to Sean for organizing this event!
